Labourer, hazmat, Confined Space Technician

Amicus and Terra hx are seeking FULL-TIME and PART-TIME labourers

DESCRIPTION

We have several full time and part time positions available for Confined Space Technicians, HazMat Technicians, and Swampers (Labourers). Do you work part time already? No problem! We will work around your availability, although preference is given to those with flexible availability.

Responsibilities:

Ability to work with minimal supervision with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with clients, colleagues and the public
Complete all paperwork and reports required for operational tasks
Perform equipment checks, testing, and maintenance as required
Be able to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime as the workload dictates
Be able to work both indoors and outdoors in diverse environments and varied locations. Ability to work in inclement weather conditions and travelling when required.
Responsibilities as otherwise assigned by Operational Management

Experience, qualifications & education

Requirements/Abilities:

Flexible availability
Adept at strategic thinking - look for solutions outside the box, strong problem solving skills
Strong written and communication skills, fluency in English a must
Excellent team building, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work under stressful conditions
Be able to work extended hours and variable shifts
Ability to follow Environmental Health & Safety programs and procedures
